Hunting License

There are a few places in town that we recommend, here is a small list of local places to acquire a license before you come hunting.

  • Dave's Sport Shop - Lynden 

  • Big 5 - Bellingham 

  • Walmart - Bellingham 

  • Fred Meyers - Bellingham 

  • Yeager's Sporting Goods - Bellingham 

  • Holiday Sports - Burlington

What to BRing

  • WA Hunting License (Mandatory)

  • Food 

  • Gun 

  • Tall boots and or waders

  • Back pack

  • Waterproof clothing + layers + extra clothes to change into after the hunt if it gets really wet and it does happen

  • Ammo, bring extra as sometimes its not always your best day 

  • Gloves 

  • Headlamp (we can provide if requested)

  • Coolers for your birds

  • Tip money for the guides. These guys work extra hard to get you on the birds, let them know you appreciate that

Youth Hunters 

  • Youth hunters under the age of 16 are required to have a hunting license. This is at a discounted rate. please see WDFW license requirements or call us, we are more than happy to help you. 

  • Kids are free of charge. Please use this fairly as we cannot afford to take more than 4 kids out at one time during general season (Dec, Jan) ​

Species Identification

We encourage all hunters coming out to brush up on their species identification knowledge prior to arriving.

North American Wigeon

Eurasian Wigeon 

Mallards 

Teal 

Pintail 

Gadwall 

Snipe

Swans 

Seagulls 

Snow Geese

Coot 

Majority of all subspecies Canada Geese
